the ‘Cheers To Life’ story…

Paul LaBlanc, the founder of Cheers To Life®, lost his brother, Brian, in the Fall of 2003 following a courageous battle with AIDS-induced Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. He was just 24. Following his wake ceremony, Paul was determined to create a positive event where legendary stories about Brian and others would continue to be shared year after year. In the Summer of 2004, the In Memory Of (IMO) Foundation was born.

Now a thriving 501c3 non-profit organization, IMO continues to build its’ Tragic Relief Fund to assist more hard-working families with the financial burden of a sudden tragedy. In addition, IMO’s annual scholarship program carries on the voice, spirit, and legacy of a different fallen family member or friend each year. Through the Foundation’s annual Summer Festival, a platform has been created to share stories rather than shelve them, inspiring people to reflect more, appreciate more, and achieve more (www.imofoundation.org).

Over 100 individuals were honored in the first eight years of IMO. The stories told are inspiring and taught Paul more than just being grateful. They taught him how to live grateful. In 2008, Cheers To Life® was born as Paul set out to incite the inner-good in everyone.

The Cheers To Life® brands center around getting the most out of life. Whether its commemorating life with the Tribute Frame™, using Event-Boost to throw an epic event, giving back at the IMO Foundation, or picking up life’s tips on CTL’s Blog, Cheers To Life adds a little bit of awesome to life.

Cheers To Life® is a simple message with endless meaning. It’s livin’ good and spreadin’ good. It’s enthusiasm for tomorrow. It’s a fresh start and new opportunity. It reminds us that any day we wake up, stretch our arms out, and don’t touch wood….is a good day!

“Live life with a smile, people will gather around you. Live life with a frown and stand alone.”

~ Paul LaBlanc
